Each program here is built around a specific aspect of ballet — technique, artistry, or performance practice. Whether you're picking up the basics or refining what you already know, there's something here that fits where you actually are right now.

Five distinct programs, each with a clear focus and a defined path. Pick the one that matches what you want to work on — you can always come back for another.
AUD 480
Ballet Foundations for Adults
A structured introduction to classical ballet technique for adults who have never worn pointe shoes and have no intention of pretending otherwise.
Weekly ballet classes for children aged 8 to 12, structured around RAD syllabus principles. Serious enough to teach real technique, relaxed enough to be enjoyable.
Each program runs as a sequence of recorded lectures — you watch at your own pace, revisit anything you found tricky, and move forward when you're ready. There's no pressure to keep up with a cohort. The structure is there; the pace is yours.
Ballet takes time to absorb. Some concepts only click after you've tried them a few times. The sequential format here is designed with that in mind — each session builds on what came before, so nothing feels arbitrary.
Self-pacedNo fixed schedule — watch sessions when it suits your week, not ours
SequentialEach lecture connects to the next — the order is deliberate, not arbitrary

People behind the programs
These programs were put together by people who've spent years in studios and on stage. They know what gets skipped over in standard training and what actually needs more time.
Each instructor brings a specific focus — whether that's classical technique, musicality, or the physical demands of sustained practice. You're learning from people who've had to figure this out themselves.
Dmitri Volkov
Classical Technique
Spent twelve years performing with regional companies before moving into teaching. His sessions on port de bras are unusually detailed.
Alistair Fenn
Musicality & Phrasing
Trained in both dance and music. He approaches phrasing from the score outward, which changes how you think about timing in the studio.
Renata Szabo
Pointe & Conditioning
Her background in dance medicine shapes how she talks about strength and injury prevention — practical, not alarmist, and grounded in real studio experience.
Callum Bryce
Male Technique & Partnering
Focuses specifically on the areas that often get less attention in mixed classes — elevation, partnering fundamentals, and the specific demands of male classical roles.
